Thomas Lineweaver Headshot against a dark blue background

Thomas Lineweaver is a writer, journalist, former podcaster. He has an unabashed passion for technology, design, music, and serving others. From June 2014 to February 2021, he was the Chief Editor and Owner of Apostles That Rock (ATR), a publication that covered a wide range of topics from the Christian music industry, politics, and even culture. During this time, he interviewed numerous musicians and industry professionals while also hosting the ATR Podcast, a which had reached listeners in 23 countries, across six continents, and was heard across nine platforms.

Before his work in journalism, Thomas was the frontman and songwriter for his Christian band Judah First from 2006 to 2010, dropping one album that, like most high school bands, didn’t exactly fly off the shelves locally. His creative journey has always been rooted in faith, with more than two decades of active involvement in ministry shaping his work and perspective. In April 2021, he relaunched ATR as ATR News, an online news outlet exploring politics, business, tech, and travel. Although that project ended in July 2022, it reflected his ability to adapt and expand his editorial vision.

Today, Thomas continues writing as a freelance journalist on Medium while also finishing his upcoming book, The Philosopher’s Crime, scheduled for release in Spring 2026.

Beyond his professional work, he enjoys biking the greenway trails of Nashville, savoring sushi, Thai, and Italian cuisine, and spending quiet moments with classic black-and-white films and timeless music by Mozart and Tchaikovsky.

Thomas currently lives in Nashville, TN.
